This was a moderate week for me. I won’t say that it was bad, but it wasn’t good either. I can’t remember why I didn’t get up and moving on Monday. I’m not sure there was a reason. I walked the dog we were pet sitting around the neighborhood, but I didn’t go to a Boston run because I hadn’t heard back about the MRI yet and I didn’t want to run when I wasn’t supposed to…
Tuesday: I did a 55 minute weights session including core, arms, and legs.
Wednesday: 1500 yards of swimming, 15 minutes of pool running, and a 7 mile bike ride.
Thursday: I found out that I had the stress fracture, which was a complete shock and surprise, and I came home frustrated and sat instead of doing anything.
Friday: I thought about getting up to workout early, because I knew with several things in the afternoon and evening planned I wouldn’t have time for anything, but it just didn’t happen.
Saturday: I cycled 22.38 miles from my house to and on a nearby trail and back.
Sunday: I swam 1600 yards and pool jogged by 30 minutes and burned 610 calories to boot. I was happy with that this weekend.
My goal for this week is to take only 1 rest day and to bike, swim, aquajog, or do upper body weights every other day. I’m not supposed to do anything that puts weight on my foot, so no lower body weights…
How were your workouts this week? Kat ran her 6th half marathon in 6 months this morning, so she’ll be posting later. Linkup with us below!
