First of all, I just need a moment to relish the fact that it’s actually Friday. I haven’t had a week where I was wishing for this day so much in quite a while. Every year right before spring break I get really stressed with all kinds of things going on. I always forget how stressed I get until it approaches again, and I always promise myself once it’s over that I won’t let it happen again the following year. But, here we are again, in the cyclical process of the pre-spring break stress. At this point it’s just one of those close your eyes and wait until it’s over periods. I know I’ll make it through, and next Friday can’t come soon enough.
To put that in the back of my mind, I decided instead of writing my normal Friday’s Letters today I would focus on the good things that have happened this week and the things that I’m especially excited about. After all, in the midst of all of my stress and anxiety I’ve still got so much great stuff going on that keeps me upbeat.
