I’m on break now for the most part. These are the times that being a teacher really pays off. I have finished grading exams, and though I have one big meeting left before I’m officially off, I have a lot of time on my hands. I’m in the process of putting together a “to-do” list for the next several weeks; I want to make sure that I don’t waste them away drinking coffee and watching my favorite morning talk shows. With all of this time I can tell you that my goals will include getting our house in order and getting some organizational stuff done.
This weekend was very colorful and eventful! I’ll have to share several posts of all the fun I had with friends and Tim! Yesterday was his 30th birthday, so today I’m feeling a bit of a sushi and cake hangover.
On Saturday morning I carpooled with a new friend, Ashley, down to St. Pete to meet up with Tori for a run before The Color Run. Genna mentioned that she had a friend who runs at our pace and wanted to join us, so Kat joined us too! We were all planning on running different distances, so we did a few loops that people could drop off of as they wished. Though I had planned on getting in 12, I decided to stop at 10 and count the 3.1 of the Color Run as my last three miles.
