Like I mentioned yesterday, this whole daylight savings being gone is really confusing my schedule. Yesterday I ended up having a plan cancel and had time to get home to take these pictures before dark. For some reason I was really looking forward to the time changing, but I think someone had fooled me into thinking I was going to be getting a lot more morning light. That’s just not true.
I appreciated all of your comments yesterday about running at dark, and it seems most people are either won’t do it at all or only do it in well-lit areas. Yesterday I took it to the treadmill for my four miles anyways, because I wanted to watch election coverage while getting my miles in. When I run on the treadmill, I know people say to increase the incline to make up for being on a belt that’s running for you, but I tend to just speed up more than I would on the road. I’m a Florida runner–I don’t do inclines well.
This outfit is really throwing me off in these pictures. I think it looked better in person than it photographed. The sweater needed to be cinched to work in the pictures, but in person I think it flowed better. Or maybe it didn’t and I just looked all flowy and big on top all day. It didn’t matter, though, because I had my leopard loafers on. I don’t think I’ve shown them on here before, but they’re among my favorite shoes. While I wouldn’t wear them at the same time, these shoes and my leopard cardigan give me an extra pep in my step. Do you have anything that you feel extra confident in when you wear it? That’s the best!
Do you have any leopard pieces? What’s your favorite?
Is it possible to look cute in person and photograph poorly, or am I making that up?
