I sat down at about 10 last night to write a blog post. I was ready to post my usual Friday’s Letters and Friday’s Fancies. I was pumped to write some great, funny letters and knock out an outfit to kill. Then I realized I didn’t have it in me. I had not one second of creativity or good though in my tired brain. So instead I made this in Photoshop.
In all honesty it might have made you a little sad to know how long that took.
I am ready for a break. I’m thankful for the fact that I have a few days off of school next week, because after the nonstop weekend last weekend, a long week, and another busy weekend this weekend, I’m run down. My body and brain are both tired, and it’s going to take a miracle to get through Friday unscathed. I didn’t even get a chance to finish blogging about my weekend this week.
Marathon training wipes me out and leaves me so little useable time at night. By 10 PM I’m useless at best. And even that’s pushing it. So instead of belaboring my being tired, I’ll share a few pictures from the Yelp Livin’ La Vida Local event last weekend at Datz.
Quickly, it was a free event to any Yelp member, and it was really well organized and put on. They brought in outside vendors, had great food, and offered great drinks to try. I enjoyed a few bites and beverages and had a great time with friends. I’ll otherwise let the pictures speak for themselves.
I borrowed this picture from Caroline.
I’m running a the Women’s Half Marathon + four miles on Sunday for 17! I am so excited about going to the expo on Saturday that I can hardly stand it. I love race expos!
What are you doing this weekend?
Do you need a little holiday as much as me?
