On Thursday night i picked up one of my bridesmaids at the airport, and suddenly it was real! The weekend had finally come! I couldn’t believe that the event that I had been planning for a year was actually coming to fruition!
On Friday I ran around getting everything ready and packed for the hotel, and then I went to get my hair blown out for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, because I’m incapable of making my own hair look nice for extended periods of time.
At 5:00 we headed to the Tampa Museum of Art for our rehearsal…and it really became real!

The groomsmen and Tim

The bridesmaids and me

Me and Tim walked up the aisle to run through again

Something was funny…

The museum event coordinator gave a toast with everyone involved in the rehearsal. It was so thoughtful.
Then we headed to Ceviche for the rehearsal dinner. We had to do some table re-arranging, but the night was fantastic, the food was delicious, and everything had a wonderful time!

Christi, Emily, and Aaron

Me and Blair

Tim and the Groomsmen. He gave them all framed prints of their favorite college football team’s stadium. They all seemed to really like the gifts.

Me, Blair, Kim, Raequel, and Kacey with their gifts.

Here is what I got them. As you saw in my bridesmaids gifts post, I really like personalized items. They each got a tumbler and two cosmetic bags in their favorite colors with their initial, a pair of earrings to wear in the wedding, and a magnetic notepad with their name in our wedding colors.

The dessert platters were delicious! There was nothing left on any of them…

Tim’s parents and my parents with us
After the rehearsal dinner, we headed to the hotel. We had added a note in the welcome bags inviting everyone to meet us outside at this nice bar the hotel has to hang out and mingle the night before. Everyone that was at the hotel came out and it was so nice to mingle without all the pressure of a wedding. Also, we didn’t pay for the drinks, so if you’re trying to figure out a way to get everyone together but don’t have room in the budget, just add a note. Ours said, “join us at the Waterside Cafe for hors d’ouevres and drink specials to mix and mingle the night before the wedding.”

It was such a wonderful night with great friends. I have hundreds of pictures, and it’s hard to represent the night in only a few. I’m so thankful in looking back on what a great night it was!
